Post-Graduation from PMNM Dental College and Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi University of Dental Sciences with highest merit.

He is a Life Member of the Indian Society of Periodontology

In 2014 completed Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Periodontology from Govt. Dental College, and Hospital, Bangalore

2017 - Diploma in Laser Dentistry (DLD) from Society of Oral Laser Applications (SOLA), Vienna University, Austria

2020 - Diplomate of International Congress of Oral Implantology

 

He is well versed in periodontal therapeutic procedures like flap surgeries, mucogingival surgeries, gingivectomy, gingivoplasty, depigmentation, bone grafting and GTR techniques, splinting, local drug delivery, crown lengthening, root resection, hemisection and others and treats any of the above condition with utmost care and delicacy.

He is a Laser Dentistry Practitioner and performs procedures like laser assisted new attachment procedure (LANAP), laser gingivectomy and gingivoplasty and others.

 

He has good skills about use of laser for soft tissue surgeries like frenectomy, frenotomy, vestibuloplasty, operculectomy, gingival depigmentation, etc

Dr Shivaprasad has great interest in research activities and has written many research papers on periodontal health.
